Kimberly's Consulting Collaboratory

&

Pandemic Possibilities People!

Collaboration for Fun and Profit! . . . and make a bigger impact to Our World than any one of us could by acting alone.

PEOPLE: Kollaborators

PURPOSE: Transform businesses in Silicon Valley and beyond for the better through the magic of our Silicon Valley Consulting Collaborators.

VALUES: Collaboration, Creativity, Learning, Prosperity, Fun!

VISION: This Team is a source of inspiration, business benefit, and life-affirming energy to our clients and each other.

PRIORITIES

  1. Identify who is "committed" to collaboration vs. "involved" or "interested".

  2. Build strong, enjoyable relationships among the "committed".

  3. Familiarize ourselves with the strengths and expertise of each of the "committed" people in our collaboratory.

  4. Identify opportunities to practice collaboration for fun, profit and both.

  5. DO IT! Vision is nice, but vision without action is just a hallucination.

LOCATION: Zoom for now every month. Kimberly's home in Redwood City, California in the future when it's safe to do so.

Self-organizing agendas are here.

IN PERSON EVENTS? Perhaps in 2023, depending on risk. We will use HYBRID in the future so remote people can still join and participate.

AGENDA_POT LUCK LUNCH + MEETING + WINE/CHEESE

MISSION: Enjoy collaborating, for mutual benefit, with this community of supportive consulting professionals . . . to help teams and organizations in Silicon Valley and beyond.

KIMBERLY'S CORNER: In 2020 we moved to virtual events to deal with the pandemic. It was amazingly effective!

PAST MISSION: We are a loose affiliation of highly experienced, committed, trustworthy professionals who work together because we enjoy working together. We intend to bring the power and magic of this Team, demonstrated initially in our work in Japan, to companies in the US market. Our marketing focus initially is on US-based Japanese companies, but we can bring value to global-minded companies from anywhere in the world, located anywhere in the world. It's time to ramp up our collaboration in the USA!

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: We explored the possibility of collaborating with ALC on this, but that went nowhere for over the years months. It is clear to me that they do not want to put energy on building a US-based business right now, even with volunteer sales and biz dev help. We each own the rights to our intellectual property, we can do business here in a way that respects our relationship with ALC, and even strengthens our ability to do a great job for ALC. We can't wait for ALC to start a US subsidiary. We can, and we should, create our own collaboration now.
