5 Things You Need to Know (from the March meeting)
1. The April 9 meeting will be at 6:30 on the Plaza at Buca di Beppo, 310 W. 47th Street
2. The Chapter is touring the Nelson Art Gallery's World's Fair Exhibits Saturday, June 23rd. Meet at the information desk at 10:45. Plan to stay for lunch after the tour.
3. Anne Hussar volunteered to start scanning historic chapter files.
4. The Chapter donated philanthropy funds to Children's Mercy Hospital's Hearing and Speech clinic and to the Delta Zeta Foundation.
5. One highlight of the March meeting was a spectacular 360-view of Kansas City at night from a rooftop garden in the Crossroads District.
Reminder: March 5th is Badge Day! Wear it proudly wherever you go that Monday!

Five things you should know:
The March meeting will be held at 18th and Baltimore.
Karen Catechis, along with several Xi Phi collegiates, participated in this year's Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics.
Jan Armstrong has invited the Xi Phi collegiates to compete in the Dragon Boat Festival June 9.
Installation of officers will be in May this year at our picnic meeting.
Our chapter contributed 22 hats and 57 pairs of mittens to the Hearing and Speech Clinic at Children's Mercy Hospital.

December 2011 Holiday Brunch
Kathy Palermo hosted a wonderful potluck brunch at her beautiful home. The Delta Zeta sisters shared great homemade food, played a Christmas carol bingo game, and exchanged mystery gifts. It was a wonderful way to share the busy holiday season together.
Please note: There is no January meeting. The next meeting is February 13, 2012 at 7pm.

Send a favorite holiday recipe to Sarah Snyder by Dec. 2 and receive several great new recipes at the December brunch. EXTENDED to January 31!

5 Things You Should Know from the October 2011 Meeting
Fourteen Xi Phi members joined us for the meeting, and future October meetings will be dress casual meetings.
Two new members were welcomed.
Our fall fund raiser is underway: We are selling items from the Peculiar Spice Company (www.peculiarspice.com) . Tell your friends!
The November 14th meeting will feature a presentation on Feng Shui.

5 Things You Should Know from the September 2011 Meeting!
The individual color draping analysis was a huge success.
Founder's Day will be held in Lawrence at 11:30 Saturday, November 5, at the Country Club. Cost is $25. One of our members will be honored as a Golden Rose member.
The updated yearbook will be ready for the October meeting.
Several volunteers are needed as co-hostesses for this year's meetings.
Xi Phi has 29 new members, and the chapter total stands at 83.
