Mixed Vegetable Salad - Shared by Lee Waits
1 tsp. sale
1 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 or 2 T. water
1/2 c. vegetable or canola oil
Mix all the above and bring to a boil. Cool. Pour over vegetables. Let stand in refrigerator for several hours. Will keep up to two weeks.
Vegetables
1 reg. size can French style green beans (drained)
1 reg. size can green peas (drained)
1 reg. size can shoe peg white corn
1 small can chopped pimento
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 to 1 cup chopped onion, depending on preferred taste.
