Page 26 - History of Whangarei

This page has copies of a book about the History of Whangarei, it tells about the Coalfields at Kawakawa and at Hikurangi, it also tells about the building of the Railway. It is a useful source of information about the area, these pages were copied in the early 1990's, the book is called A History of Whangarei by Florence Keene. The last pages mention the church at McCleod Bay, I have also attached a picture of this church.
