Creator: Zephiles

Features:

Loading Zone Randomizer

This cheat is still in Beta. In order to not softlock, several additional cheats are built in:

  1. L+B Reloads the room that you're currently in (Note: For the Reload Room code, only use it while a file is loaded, and while not in a battle.)
  2. L+D-Pad Up changes the Loading Zone Used to North, L+D-Pad Down changes the Loading Zone Used to South, L+D-Pad Left changes the Loading Zone Used to West, L+D-Pad Right changes the Loading Zone Used to East, You can combine this code with the Reload Room code to quickly change which loading zone you came out of.
  3. Peach will act as Mario does
  4. You are able to Walk and Jump on water. Spin Jumping and going onto water with Yoshi will still cause you to fall into it normally.

You can avoid ever warping to the Credits by naming your file the Star character, as shown in the 'FileNameNoCredits' picture.

Starting from a new file, you will be placed at Rogueport Square. The cutscene with Goombella will be skipped, and then you will be given all of the partners. After this, any loading zone you enter will be random.

If you end up in the Rogueport Sewers room that has 3 Shine Sprites, you will be able to use a Boat Panel, regardless of whether you have the Curse or not.

If you end up in the Creepy Steeple Storage Room, you will be able to use the Paper Mode and Tube Mode Curses, regardless of whether you have them or not.

The following rooms/areas will NOT be possible to go to:

  1. Rogueport Harbor Entering/Leaving Cutscene area
  2. The Great Tree Water Switch room
  3. Keelhaul Key Cortez's Ship Cutscene Area
  4. Riverside Station room with the papers on the wall
  5. The first room of the Moon (with the Save Block)
  6. All Bowser levels/areas
  7. All Pianta Parlor minigame areas

Item Randomizer

This cheat code randomizes all items that are not considered Important Items nor Upgrades, with several exceptions.

Note: Several unused Items/Badges are possible to get using this code. The details about these Items/Badges can be found here: https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_Paper_Mario:_The_Thousand-Year_Door_pre-release_and_unused_content#Items

The following items will be randomized:

  1. Items/Badges that spawn in the field upon entering a screen
  2. Items/Badges from chests
  3. Items/Badges from blocks
  4. Single Coin Blocks (Multi-Coin Blocks are NOT randomized)
  5. Star Pieces under panels in the floor
  6. Items held by enemies in battles. All enemies in a battle will be holding a random item/badge, and one of these will be dropped at random when you have won the battle. It should be noted that the Strange Sack and the Crystal Stars will never be held/dropped. Also, due to limitations in the game, the standard items that enemies can hold range from ID 0x80 to 0xA0 (excluding 0x91). However, all badges can be held.

In V1, Coins from the overworld, bushes, trees, or battles (whether running away or winning a battle) will NOT be randomized. These are randomized in V2.

Besides the regular items, the following Important Items/Upgrades can be optained. However, the code checks your inventory before spawning the item to make sure you can't receive any duplicates.

1. Strange Sack

2. All 7 Crystal Stars (will NOT advance the sequence NOR give you the special moves)

3. Star Pieces and Shine Sprites

Extreme Randomizer

The Extreme Randomizer is a combination of Item Randomizer V1 and the Loading Zone Randomizer.
