CRANBERRY SAUCE

This is absolutely the easiest thing to do. I don't know why anyone would buy canned sauce when they can make this and fancy it up any way you like.

1 back of fresh cranberries, 12 oz

1 cup of water or orange juice

1 cup of sugar

zest of one orange

2 tablespoons of Grand Marnier or brandy

Bring water and sugar to a boil. Carefully add cranberries. Boil gently over lower heat for 10 minutes. Stir in the orange zest and the Grand Marnier off the heat.

Let cool at room temperature. It will thicken right up.
