For his project, Dan demolished, rebuilt, sanded, and painted a 300 foot fence at the Bella Rosa Riding Academy. The fence surrounds a garden area on the farm that was adopted by New Horizons in Autism. New Horizons in Autism provides many programs to support children, adolescents, and adults with autism. A group of young men from New Horizons maintains the garden area and also restored an 18th century paver walk way on their adopted spot. However, they did not have the skills necessary to rebuild the fence so Dan led his team of scouts and adults to help them complete their project.
