My Eagle Scout project was to lead a team of scouts in building three commercial grade picnic tables and two ADA compliant commercial grade picnic tables for the Freehold Township Shade Tree Commission. The picnic tables were placed at the end of the cul-de-sac in Durand Park before the lake. To fund-raise for the project I had to lead a team of scouts in selling candy in front of Dick’s Sporting goods. Construction of the tables was accomplished at my house with a team of scouts I lead using instructions located online. Finally I lead a team of scouts in preparing the land for the tables by clearing the vegetation, grading and mulching the land. After building and preparing the land a team of scouts under my guidance installed and secured the tables with cement.
