Mr. Carlton is so excited to share six short videos that teach How Computers Work! Over a year in the making, these educational videos star Bill Gates along tech leaders such as Apple designer May Li Khoe, xBox architect Nat Brown, and Adafruit founder, Limor Fried.
Because CS (Computer Science) is for everybody, Khan Academy has expanded the audience for these videos.
Khan Academy will include the videos in their CS offering.
(Also featured is the How the Internet Works videos previously released by Code.org.)

Studying for the SAT on Khan Academy for 20 hours is associated with an average score gain of 115 points. That's nearly double the average score gain achieved by students who don't use Khan Academy. Researchers confirmed that practice advanced students regardless of their gender, race, income and high school GPA.
Personalization Period is a wonderful time for students to utilize Khan Academy.
Class time - breaking up 90 minute blocks - also a great time to practice.
