Comm. Tech students, with Ai open on your desktop, please view the Illustrator Basics tutorial videos at this link http://brainbuffet.com/cs-tutorials/ Many of you have already experienced Ai and have created some artistic and creative design with text and brushes. Please review the basics and continue training or, if new to Ai, start with the first tutorial with Ai open.
"First timers" Follow along with the tutorial, building your Ai letters into your first and/or last name. Be sure to make each letter a separate layer. Due: November 8, 2013. View the sample attachments below of quality work by those who learned before you.

Use an image of you other than in front of a computer in room 518.
Due November 22, 2013.
1. Save your design as an Ai file and as a .png by holding down the Shift, Command and #4 key.
2. Then click, hold and drag from the top left of your design to the bottom right. Release mouse and your .png file will appear on your desktop.
3. Email Mr. Carlton your .png file to flhstechlab@gmail.com - be sure to title your email as LastName Ai Portrait project.
4. Save both versions of your project (Ai and .png) to your Google Drive for safe keeping.
5. Upload the .png file of your project to your Prezi as any online portfolio would be incomplete with a fantastic first Ai project!
