1.20 Mini Cereal (See Real) Box
Introduction:
I loved cereal when I was a kid, matter of fact, I still do. Knowing a bit about design and Photoshop makes me really appreciate the art and typography that covered those boxes over the years. As a Communications Technology student, have learned enough to appreciate the design aspects and creativity involved with cereal box design. Cereal is a multi-billion dollar business. Will you become a cereal box artist? There is no better time to start answering that question by designing your own box and then assembling it.
Project Objective:
Create an original looking miniature cereal box with your image on the front of the box. You may also search "cereal box template" on Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Use "green" words or phrases on your cover, such as "This box is 100% recyclable"
COMPETITION!
You will be competing for the best "SEE REAL" box and at least three (3) categories.

Specifications:
Download and Open the file "CerealBoxTemplate" located BELOW.
The box template must be 11" wide x 8.5" tall @300 in CMYK for print
The box template must include a solid or gradient fill layer as a background
The box template must have multiple text layers
The box template shall include an image in your likeness. (The instructor or other persons shall be able to recognize you.)
Use the "filter" menu to adjust your image to compliment the cereal box.
Information on the cover shall include:
Cereal name
Slogan or phrase, example "They're Great!"
Free offer: toy or gift
Your name and title near your image
Use "green" words or phrases on your cover, such as "This box is 100% recyclable"
Good source of "you choose"
Net Weight of cereal in box
Use layer styles to add effects to text and images
Save the image as a photoshop document (.psd) called ”CBox_LastNameBlock#” in your Gmail Docs folder.
Save as .jpg or .png for submission via email to flhstechlab@gmail.com by March 31, 2017.
Place jpg file in your Prezi.

Guidelines:
Make sure you understand all the ways to manipulate text on the image.
Start paying attention to negative space! It’s an important concept (along with the rest of the Elements and Principles).
