Our last game of the season and we were looking for a win to secure the league title again unfortunatley it didn't happen as we lost to Horsford BC 11-3 43-41 in a very close match 3 draws and a loss by only 2 shots was all it took to keep us in second place behind Sprowston, well done to them, had the match been played at ours, as it should have been but due to the hall floor being done we had to play away, things may have been different, who knows. It was still a very good game and all credit to Horsford for not only winning but agreeing to the change
Away to Taverham we won 14-0 48-34 a good away result with the team thinking of Elaine who was in hospital with a badly broken right arm
After the dissapointment of losing to Deaf Sport the team rallied and won at home to Framingham Earl by 14-0 60-25 in what was to be the last home game of the season as the scheduled game to Horsford BC is to be played at theirs due to our hall being unavailable
Away to Deaf sports we lost 12-2 53-43
After 2 weeks without a game we were pleased to win at home to Felthorpe by 14-0 53-24
Away to Framingham Earl at the interval we had lost both 1st half gmes and were 13 shots down and were very pleased to come away winners of the match by 8-6 and 41-40
Away to Anglia Windows we won 12-2 55-34
After what seemed to be an eternity without a game (2 weeks) we were away to Felthorpe and came away pleased with a 12-2 51-40 win
At home to Jarrolds we won 10-4 54-35
Away to old rivals Sprowston they got their revenge as we lost 10-4 53-37
At home to Old Bonds B.C. we won 14-0 66-17
At home to British Rail we won a very friendly match 14-0 58-17
At home to Sprowston we won a thrilling match 12-2 51-36
Away to Horsford Heroes,who were looking for revenge after they lost at ours,it was another tight thrilling match with only a few shots betwen the games we came away very happy with a 14-0 49-40 win.
At home to Taverham after the 1st session we were 2-2 and 11 shots down, the 2nd session blocks duly dug in and we finished 12-2 48-42.
We made the long trip to Cromer for the 1st time, to play the Norwich cup sadly there was to be no comeback this time 11-5 down at the interval and needing to win on all 4 mats we only managed to win on 2 thus Cromer were worthy winners 15-9 76-45.
At home to Thorpe Marriott we won the 2nd leg of the City Shield 4-4 and by a whopping 63-46 but it was to no avail as the aggregate score was 9-7 99-120 win for Thorpe Marriott.
Away to County Council produced another close game we managed a win 10-4 47-41.
Away to Jarrolds another very tight game we just edged it winning 10-4 43-42.
Putting the home defeat against Deaf Sport behind us we regrouped for the home match to Horsford Heroes, as suspected it was a thrilling tight match, which we won 12-2 43-36.
After the Christmas break. Deaf sport at home on a cold night we lost 12-2 50-28.
A cold trip out in the snow to Thorpe Marriott for the 1st leg of the City Shield another close game where Thorpe Marriott just edged it 5-3 57-53.
A tough match at home to Anglian Windows was won 12-2 50-43.
Back on Home Ground at last, looking for revenge against Costessy we got it with a 13-1 51-36 win.
Away to Horsford B.C. very pleased with a 12-2 63-35 win.
Away to British Rail (now playing at St. Andrews Thorpe) won 12-2 56-37.
Away to John Lewis on their tricky mats we came away satisfied with a 12-2 53-36 win.
The away game to Framingham Earl in the Norwich Cup was a thrilling affair 10 - 6 down on points and also down on shots, needing to win the last four games, the team duly dug in and turned the game around and came out winners 14 - 10 on points and 70 - 61 on shots
The away game at Deaf Sport in the city shield has been cancelled after they conceded the game.
A visit to Hempnall in the County Cup produced some exciting close games but the home side just edged it 5-3 and 54-48 on shots.
On a high after the game with Deaf Sport we went to Costessey and were brought back to earth with a bump losing 14-0.
Deaf sport visited for the 1st leg of the City Shield we won 7-1.
Thorpe Marriott away was another loss 12-2.
R.G.Carter came to us but went away dissapointed we won 14-0.
At home to Thorpe Marriott was no better we lost 10-4.
Next game away to R.G. Carter resulted in a 10-4 loss.
