Arcadia was created by the elf of the Arcane. It was once home to the Ethereals, being composed of pure ethereal energy. The Archstorms ruled over Arcadia just as the Archdaemons and Archangels ruled over their realms. However, in the time preceding the 1st demonic invasion, Archdaemon Apollyon attacked. He entered the chaos lands and began consuming it for power. When the Archstorms learned of this, they amassed their armies and attacked the chaos lands. However, the combined might of the demons, the chaotics, and Apollyon proved too much for the ethereal armies, and the Archstorms were defeated.Apollyon returned to Arathrum as Arcadia tore itself apart with no rulers and the chaos having been released. the ethereal were mutated over time into the monstrous creatures known as the Fae.
