Sigraed

Sigraed means "Raed's land" (land of Raed) and is the capital of the Sigraeden Lordships. It is here that Godking Raed lived for 400 years, or 1200 including reincarnations. It is the headquarters for the religion of Raed and the location of the College of Mystica, where all Sigraeden's born with magic are forced to attend. It was also the location of the final battle of the First War between Sigraed and Mavros. Neutral during Second civil war.

Mavros is named for it's founder, king Mavrin, who was chosen by Ballagnus to build his kingdom. Mavrin was the first Knight of the Red Dragon and conquered many clans is the name of Ballagnus. Mavros was the other side of the First War, and nearly the winner. However, Raed's Full Ascension took place during the final battle which resulted in the destruction of their 3 largest cities. It was after this that they pledged their allegiance to Raed, forming Sigraeden. Mavros is seen by many on the outside as one of the two heads of the kingdom, the other being Iraenius. Three Lordships were once part of Mavros. these were Ballagnum, Licentia, and Manubalias. Before they split, Ballagnum, home of the Order of the Red Dragon, was owned by Mavros, as was The Order. The First Knight Of the Red Dragon, or "First Knight" was the Military leader of Sigraeden and was allowed to sit at the Lords Table, without a vote.

Before the bloody summer, the majority of the inhabitants worshiped a nobel griffen which once lived in a mountain near them. Ohmikans were the most sheltered kingdom, living in a deadzone of magic and a hard to access place. They did trade with Pecunia and Natripilli. When they were conqured by Koda the Bear during the Bloody Summer, He destroyed all of their temples and alters and told them to worship Raed. While many did and most resisted, a large minority began worshiping him. As a half-giant (the first non-human they had seen) he was immensely strong and healed quickly, and they thought he was a god.

Was renamed Kiiraed or "Raed's Servant" in honor of Raed, because Koda was really a strong follower of Raed. As a thanks, and in response to popular opinion, _____(Lord of Mavros), _____(Lord of Sigraed), and _____(Current First Knight of the red Dragon) made Koda the Lord of Kiiraed. The state religion became worship of Koda (The Bear) after the Eclipse. The religion returned to worship of the griffen after the erradication of the house of the bear preceding the Second Civil War.

Historic Moments

Pecunia was a rich country and conducted trade between many kingdoms. The rulers of Sigraeden _______, secretly planned out all of the invasions using intel bought from Pecunia (such as which mountain passes were poorly guarded and easiest to traverse to conquer Ohmikis). Ironically, they were themselves sold out by one of their own lords, who was awarded the Lordship of Pecunia after the victory. Pecunia started the First Civil war and, after losing, was puppeted by Mavros. They remained a puppet state until well after the Second civil war. They started the civil war by assassinating Godking Raed and seceding from the Kingdom. They did this because the prince wanted revenge for when his Father was killed by Raed for disobedience during the War of the Dragons.

Worship Natrix the Sea Serpent. He is real and because of the worship, knows which ships to not attack.

How they joined

Allied with Sigraeden at the end of Bloody Summer. While they were conquered, their King, Dietherd Mathias, mortally wounded both the Lord of Sigraed and the First Knight, the later of which died. Out of respect, the Lord of Sigraed let the Mathias family continue to rule Natripilli, as well as a few other families.

Historic Moments

Ended Bloody Summer because of how hard they were to conquer. King Dietherd was the first to kill an acting First Knight, all others had died after retirement. Dietherd was the only lord who did not get involved with the second battle of The War of the Dragons. He reported the happenings to Raed, who responded by ASTRALY PROJECTING HIMSELF TO THEIR CAMP AND KILLING THE LORDS. The First Knight at the time (Bear's son) did not die and Koda the Bear had refused to participate in the battle himself. This is what led to the First Civil War.
