History

Origin

The Ape race was created shortly after Maelstrom infected Aboden with chaos. The first ages emerged from warped treants who had somehow taken in chaos. They began to spread unchecked as the majority of the forces of Aboden were engaged in a fierce war with the Apes chaotic cousins, the Troggs. However, The Great Tree did notice that his children in the Eastern Grove were silent, so he sent sprites to chech on them. These were killed by the Apes. Thus when the Wood Elves sent a war band to the grove, they had no idea what they would encounter.
