ERRATA

Like every other RPG in existence the Nth Edition has errors in the text. I'll post errors here as I discover them or they are pointed out to me.

ADVENTURE BOOK

Page 08 - Great Failure and Great Success should read Critical Failure and Critical Success.

Page 30 - Add a section on taking actions while prone. You are at -5CS to all physical action FEATs. However, all attempts to target you suffer the same penalty.

Page 32 - The last paragraph of the first column should read "A character’s Health represents his overall physical well-being. Health derives from the sum of the Ranks Numbers of Fighting, Agility, Might, Endurance and Shoot."

Page 34 - First column, last paragraph should replace "one of the three types of Health" with "either Health or Sanity."

Page 34 - Dazed and Stunned entries should read "take a CS penalty", not "take CS a penalty."

Pages 44 to 53 - I shall soon release a Construct Book that will replace a large portion of this chapter.

CHARACTER BOOK

Page 21 - Brute Fighter should only cost one Block. It has no Grades as it is an Add An Ability Talent.

Page 21 - Thrown Weapons will no longer need to have provisions for balanced or aerodynamic items once the Construct Book is released.

Page 30 - Enhanced Ability. This is more of a clarification than a correction: Enhanced Ability does not have a Rank, it is a raw +CS modifier to the original ability. It is not Graded because it is neither a Talent nor a Stunt. The Arach-Knight example is thus in error.

Page 31 - Plasticity refers the reader to a Rubber Body Power in the Resistance section do this chapter, but that Power is not included in the text.

Pages 35 to 36 - Resistances. Ok, I painted myself into a corner on this one. By making each of the Resistances one Block per Rank I left nowhere for myself to go when considering normal body armor that covers all physical attacks, force fields that cover all energy attacks, etc. So I'm rectifying that here.

There are two kinds of damaging attacks; physical (those things that damage the physical object), and psychological (those things that "damage" the personality. Physical includes energy attacks, since they do damage to the physical body. Defense against either of these costs one Block per Rank. This is an example of cost based on Application; there are two defense Applications here, each at 1 Block per Rank.

The various Resistances listed in the Character Book still work the same, but they cost one Block per two Ranks. Magic Resistance still subtracts one Block from the total after the total number of Blocks per two Ranks is calculated.

There is no change in the cost of the Stunt versions of the Resistances. The Stunts aren't designed to reflect forms of armor as much as a metabolic resistance to these forms of attack.

Also, Aging isn't properly a Resistance Power. It belongs in the Health And Body section. Its cost doesn't change.

Page 44 - Bad Liar is the opposite of Deceive, not Lie Detection.

Page 45 - After the example the next paragraph should begin "Once a player has built his character..."

Page 45 - The second paragraph in the third column should end with "Characters start with all Attributes at Useless Rank and possessing no Talents or Powers."

Page 46 - Due to the above clarification regarding Enhanced Ability the entry for the Powers Enhanced Initiative and Enhanced Might here are incorrect, though this doesn't affect the cost in Blocks any. Replace the Ranks listed with +3CS.
