1 Samuel 11 from Scroll 4Q51 Samuela

1 Now Nahash king of the Ammonites oppressed the Gadites and the Reubenites severely. He gouged out the right eye of all of them and there was no one to save Israel. There did not remain an Israelite man who was beyond the Jordanwhose right eye Nahash king of the Ammonites did not gouge out, except seven thousand menwho escaped from the hand of the Ammonites and went to Jabesh Gilead. And they were there about a month.[1] Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped againstJabesh Gilead: and allthe men of Jabesh said to Nahash king ofAmmonites, “Make a covenant with us, and we will serve you.”

[1] This lengthy reading is not in any other known Bible text, but Josephus seems to be aware of it in Antiquities of the Jews, book VI, chapter 5.

2 At evening, David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. From the roof, he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to look at. 3 David sent and inquired after the woman. One said, “Isn’t this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, Uriah the Hittite’s wife, the armor-bearer of Joab[49]?” 1 Samuel 11:9

[49] The scroll’s statement that Uriah was the armor-bearer of Joab is also mentioned by Josephus in Antiquities of the Jews, book VII.

…after that they removed their feet from the Jordan .. the book of the law. After that...the ones carrying the ark…[1] Joshua 5:1

[1] Perhaps “After they removed their feet from the Jordan, they read the book of the law…”

15 You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore Yahweh your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day, to sanctify it, because in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all which is in them, and he rested on the seventh day. Therefore, Yahweh blessed the seventh day to sanctify it. Deuteronomy 5:15
