Earth Will Perish/Last Forever

The earth will last forever.

Deuteronomy 4:40 - Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong [thy] days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

Psalm 37:29 - The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Psalm 78:69 - And he built his sanctuary like high [palaces], like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Psalm 104:5 - [Who] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever.

The earth will not last forever, but will be destroyed.

Psalm 102:25-26 - Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens [are] the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Isaiah 65:17 - For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Matthew 5:18 - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 13:31 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Hebrews 1:10-11 - And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Revelation 21:1 - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Some Bible Apologists try to explain this discrepancy by saying that the verses that said the earth will perish are not talking about the earth in its literal sense. Rather, they are talking about the people on the earth. But those verses that talk about old/new heaven, and old/new earth, as well as those verses talking about the passing of both heavens and earth invalidate this claim.

For example, Isaiah 65:17 said God create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. These verses are not talking about the people that lived on the earth but the earth itself because the verse said God will create a new heave and new earth. Nowhere the Bible said God will create new human beings to come and live on the earth after the ones living on it now pass away. Rather, it is the same people that will be resurrected and continue to live on the earth.

Some others try to harmonize the verses by saying that it is the foundation of the earth that will remain (Psalm 104:5). According to them, God will the earth will be burned (2 Peter 3:10), but the foundation of the earth will remain, and God will create another earth from that foundation. But Psalm 102:25-26 and Hebrews 1:10-11 invalidate this claim. These two verses said even the foundation of the earth will pass away.
