Schneider Trucking Facility Phase II

Project Description:

Entellus Construction Services provided construction management services to Schneider trucking on the 6 Acre Phase II expansion of their trucking yard. The improvements included installation of almost 800LF of 8' diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) underground storage, and over 11,000 tons of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP). The unique pavement section consisted of 10-inches of recycled asphalt over a geo-grid fabric. After finish grading the site the RAP was stabilized with "Durasoil" to create a long-lasting dust-proof maneuvering surface for driver training and parking tractor-trailers. This unique combination of materials allowed us to re-purpose over 350 truck-loads of material that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill.
