Blue Horizons Phase IA

Project Description:

After the real-estate market crash, Standard Pacific Homes decided to moth-ball the partially completed Blue Horizons development until the demand for new homes returned. With no homes completed, the development sat idle for several years. In early 2010, Entellus Construction Services was contracted to make the site ready for new home construction. ECS performed an investigation of the existing site. This included an inventory and condition assessment of the existing site, along with its utilities, amenities, and vegetation. Afterwards ECS prepared a budget and scope of work to bring the development back on line. Acting as the “Owner’s Agent,” ECS solicited bids from multiple trade contractors and provided recommendations to the Owner based upon the contractor’s price and completeness of bid. Afterwards, ECS oversaw the completion of the work and assisted in closing out the project and following up with contractors on warrantee work.
