TT18 Week 5

Post date: May 20, 2018 1:22:48 PM

This week I'd like to turn our attention to new paper exploring a now old problem on the connection between garden-path sentences and interpretations: Qian, Z., Garnsey, S., & Christianson, K. (2018). A comparison of online and offline measures of good-enough processing in garden-path sentences. Language, Cognition and Neuroscience, 33(2), 227-254. I'm particularly interested in the disconnect between online and offline effects, something that Nikole Patson and I found in our work on agreement attraction and interpretation (link here).
