This week we return to structural prediction, but this time from the viewpoint of aphasia: Warren, T., Dicky, M.W., and Lei, C. (2016). Structural prediction in aphasia: Evidence from either. Journal of Neurolinguistics, 39, 38-48. This paper builds on work from Staub, A., & Clifton Jr, C. (2006). Syntactic prediction in language comprehension: evidence from either... or. Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, 32(2), 425-436. which was one of the first cases to demonstrate direct real-time processing consequences of structural prediction.
