Kim Fuellenbach will be taking us through new work on generics this week: Lazaridou-Chatzigoga, D., Katsos, N., & Stockall, L. (2019). Generalising about striking properties: do glippets love to play with fire?. Frontiers in psychology, 10, 1971. This follows from observations first reported in Carlson's (1977) thesis on genericity and more recently discussed by Sarah-Jane Leslie.
