Similar to "Stax Trax", this album strips down the quadraphonic recordings from "Elvis Today" into a two-channel mix. It is noteworthy that this recording session represented the very last time that Elvis would ever record in a 'studio' to cut songs for an upcoming release.

HI-LIGHTS: Awesome Front cover shows a still from Elvis' last film, "Change Of Habit". Inside of gatefold cover consists of a 1974 black-and-white shot of Elvis in his Mad Tiger suit, next to a 1956 black-and-white Wertheimer shot taken during a train ride. Back cover is an interesting concept as it shows a road-map of The King's Chicago-to-Tuscaloosa travels. Having just conquered New York City, the Chicago crowd reacts wildly to Elvis as he recites a similar repertoire of songs. The second disk on this double-LP set is an incomplete version of Elvis' 1975 performance at the University of Alabama.
