Normalized supports and resources across an institution distributed over 30 locations and online;
Analyzed institutional retention data to optimize support services programming to increase student retention from orientation to graduation;
Led the implementation of a college-wide online undergraduate orientation program; and
Served as the administrative lead for the institution’s online tutoring RFP.
As Director of Academic Support, managed staff and daily operations of seven regional locations:
Provided onsite and online academic tutoring, skills development, and workshops;
Served as co-convener of the college-wide leadership team of all regional directors;
Served on numerous collegewide and local committees including the Starfish Implementation team; ANGEL Advisory Committee, and Educational Technologies Committee;
Earned the NCLCA Innovative Use of Technology Award;
Developed peer coaching program and earned CRLA International Tutoring Program certification; and
Provided consultation on curriculum development, embedded academic support, and college readiness for undergraduate and graduate faculty in the region as well as statewide.

I am passionate about developing learning environments, services and resources focused on student learning and success. My 30 years of experience as a higher education leader, administrator, and educator have always centered on the success and retention of students in onsite and online learning environments.
My strengths as an academic and an administrator are in the fields of online learning, learning with technology, teaching/curriculum development, certification program development, learning assistance, learning center leadership, student affairs, student support services, and student success and retention.
My scholarly and creative interests include writing, photography, women’s narratives, digital storytelling, and the intersection of identity, communication and social media.
Additionally, I am certified in organizational change management, a seasoned presenter/public speaker, an experienced conference/event coordinator, have conducted numerous external reviews and certification evaluations of learning support centers.
