Resources (Updated 6/4)
Dr. Freeman's Daily Schedule (TBA)
Calculus I Recitation
3:30 PM - Tuesday - Room 753
These sessions are for students in all three Calculus I sections, and will be led by your fellow students who have excelled in both Calculus I & Calculus II. They are intended to be used for clarifying concepts discussed in class, discussing homework, going over Quizzes, etc. While optional, it is highly recommended that you attend at least once a week.
Office Hours
Period 3 - Tuesday
Period 7 - Monday, Wednesday

Welcome to Calculus I.
In order to enroll in Calculus I, you must have either (1) received a grade of B+ or better in Pre-Calculus, (2) passed Pre-Calculus and received a grade of C- or better in Foundations of Applied Math, or (3) have obtained explicit permission of the instructor. If you do not meet requirement (1) or (2) you must meet with me and obtain permission on or before Fri 2/2, or you may be automatically withdrawn from this course.
If you struggled in Pre-Calculus & Applied Math (for example, received a C in both classes), it is strongly recommended that you meet with me as early in the semester as possible to make a plan to ensure your success in Calculus I.
Presentation Assignments (Updated 5/24)
In lieu of doing one problem, you may instead complete the following assignment:
Oh Khan Academy, show mastery of Applications of Derivatives (https://www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-calculus-ab/ab-applications-derivatives)
You must be logged into the class [Class code D7VEADFT]
Homework (Updated 6/2)
(You are responsible for all Homework posted and/or updated before 5:00 PM the school day before the due date. Due dates are subject to change, so please check them carefully.)
Notes:
(1) Some assigned textbook problems have a "calculator graphing" component. That part of the problem (only) is optional; the rest of the problem is required.
(2) You can often check your answers to the even numbered problems using Wolfram Alpha. Note that on Wolfram Alpha (and many other places), "log" denotes the natural logarithm that we normally denote by "ln".
