Plaatsingsdatum: 23-nov-2011 15:52:35
It was Friday morn’ when we set sail
And we were not far from the land
Our captain he spied a mermaid so fair
With a comb and a glass in her hand
Refrein
And the ocean waves do roll
And the stormy winds do blow
And we poor sailerboys
Were sitting up aloft
While the landlubbers
Lay down below.. below.. below
While the landlubbers lay down below

Then up spoke the captain of our gallant ship
And a fine spoken man was he
This fishy mermaid has warned me of our doom
We shall sink to the bottom of the sea
Refrein
Then up spoke the mate of our gallant ship
And a grand old fellow was he
Saying “i have a wife in Salam by the sea
and tonight a widow she will be’’
Refrein
then up spoke te cook of our gallant ship
and a bloody old butcher was he
saying “i care no more for my pots and pans
they shall sink to the bottom of the sea
Refrein
