Devonshire New House Construction Minimum Requirements
In an effort to maintain the quality and aesthetic value of our subdivision, the Board of Directors, as empowered by our HOA CC&Rs, has established and approved the below New House Minimum Requirements for all new construction that may take place going forward in our subdivision.
The following items are the minimum requirements that must be met for the Devonshire Architectural Control Committee to entertain any formal request for New House Construction. Meeting these minimums will not guarantee approval by the Architectural Control Committee, but should be used as a guideline by builders for planning purposes.
Architectural Review Application for New Home Construction in Devonshire
Thank you for your request for consideration to build a house in Devonshire. We take this opportunity to extend an initial “welcome to our community.” The information that you, as the Builder, provide as part of your Architectural Review Application will be evaluated by the Devonshire Architectural Control Committee (DACC) for compliance with the Devonshire Construction Minimums and the general standards and property values of the community. An approval decision will be made within thirty (30) days after receipt of your completed Architectural Review Application for New Home Construction. All plans must be approved by the Devonshire Architectural Control Committee and receive FINAL APPROVAL prior to beginning lot clearing, construction and installation. After final approval, all changes must be approved by the Committee.
The Architectural Review Application for New Home Construction in Devonshire consists of two sections:
Part I – GENERAL INFORMATION
Please complete all questions. This section covers the lot information, builder & lot owner contact information, and new house specifications.
Part II – A CONSTRUCTION SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
This is included to assist you in providing all appropriate information to the Devonshire Architectural Control Committee for construction approval. Please initial each section of the checklist to confirm that each item has been submitted to the Committee. The required materials, as specified in the Construction Submission Checklist, must be provided as part of the Application.
Once approved, the application and all related information will remain permanently in the HOA files. Please review this package carefully. Our goal is to make the approval process as easy and painless as possible while balancing your goal of constructing a new home with our goal of maintaining an attractive and cohesive neighborhood.
