Overview

This programme has been developed to give the participants an understanding of the UK MoD newly issued standardised conditions SC1A, SC1B & SC2. These conditions cover:

SC1A: MoD Terms & Conditions for Less Complex Requirements up to £118,133

SC1B: MoD Terms & conditions for Less Complex Requirements between £118,244 and £363,424

SC2: MoD Terms & Conditions for the Supply of Goods & Associated Services up to £5m

Training Objectives

Having attended this event the participants will have a better understanding of the terms and conditions incorporated within the standardised contracting templates.

Target Audience

Primarily commercial and sales staff who are directly involved with the negotiation of the commercial aspects of the contract with the UK MoD procurement team together with those staff creating the sub-contracts that will be developed to flow down the UK MoD contract conditions through the supply chain.

The course will be of benefit to junior and senior commercial officers, together with more experienced contracts and commercial managers who are not yet familiar with the terms and conditions of the standardised contracting templates

This comprehensive course is based on formal presentation material from the expert trainer. Time will be set aside for participants to raise issues of particular interest to them.

He has a broad experience of practical commercial interaction with the UK MoD gained over a thirty year period of working within the UK aerospace and defence industry and has held a number of senior commercial positions in major companies within the UK defence industry.
