I've been interested in combining the influence of natural forms and their related mathematical properties in creating art.
These works use the Golden Section in different manners.

Pythagorean Theorem Riverscape Study
Mixed Media on Board, 12 x 12"
2008
This study is the result of exploring other mathematical properties in my work. Its structure is based on a Chinese proof of the 3,4,5 triangle that later was codified as the Pythagorean Theorem.
It was exhibited in the "250 Square Feet of Art" benefit for the William F. Eisner Museum of Advertising & Design, held in Milwaukee on February 8, 2008.
