REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Hello! Thank you for your interest in registering your class(es) for a study trip to the Living Coast!

IMPORTANT!!! If you register your class(es) before July 28th you will be automatically entered into a lottery to win FREE TRANSPORTATION provided by the Port of San Diego for your group during that session! You will be notified if you win after the registration session. If there is still funding remaining after the lottery, it will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

2022-2023 Registration Session: July 20th- 28th. Registration will continue after July 28th until all available dates are reserved.

Dates for Programs 2022-2023: July 25, 2022- May 19, 2023

*** NEW *** Your buses will be RESERVED FOR YOU this year!

• You do not need to reserve your own bus this year. Transportation will be reserved for the number of classes and students that you provide during your registration.

• Please check your transportation reservation at least 2 weeks before your scheduled visit to ensure it looks correct. Tripfinder: https://plus.transfinder.com/tripfinder/

• If you have any questions regarding making a bus reservation, please contact the Transportation Department at x161616.

Before registering please take a moment to look over the following questions and answers:

• How many classes am I registering? You may register 1-3 Lower Grade Classes or 1-2 Upper Grade Classes per booking. If you have more than 3 lower grade classes, you may register another 1-3 classes on a separate day. If you register for more than 3 lower grade classes or 2 upper grade classes, one group will be taught by Karen Quiros, the CVESD Resource Teacher and one class will be taught by an Educator from the Living Coast.

• Am I registering for a Tide- Dependent Program? Crustacean Lab, Watershed and Moons & Tides are all Tide- Dependent Programs and there are specific days that are scheduled that allow you to experience the full program. Please view ideal dates listed here before you pick your dates! Crustacean Lab and Watershed programs can be scheduled on any day, but the program will need to be adapted. You MUST call (619) 476-7836 if you want to schedule the Moons & Tides Program.
