We've created activities designed to enhance your students' learning experience both before and after your scheduled field trip. Footprints on the Marsh

How many birds can you name? Students will focus on the diversity of birds and why they are so different. Students will take a hike with binoculars and tally how many different birds they can find in different habitats found at the Sweetwater Marsh Refuge.

Mudpile Mountain

Everything’s exciting when mud is involved! Students will be introduced to the forces that shape our earth by getting to build their very own mountain and watch it come tumbling down. They will be working in teams to discover what water can do to change the shape of the land.
