BALLINURE NS & DUALLA NS SERVE UP THRILLER BY EOIN POWER RANG 6, DUALLA NS

On Thursday we played a match against Ballinure National School. We played the match at the Dennis Leamy Centre in Dualla. The match started at twelve o'clock and went on until about one. When the match started each team was level for a while. About ten minutes into the game Callum Lawrence scored a goal for Dualla. Ballinure retaliated with a point soon after. The match went on like this for some time but at half time Dualla were still in front. At half time Ballinure came out a lot stronger and they scored a few quick points and goals. After a while when Ballinure were only about two points behind them Dualla answered back by scoring some goals of their own. Most of Dualla's goals were scored by Callum Lawrence and his brother Brendan also had an excellent performance. Páraic Brosnan also had an excellent performance alongside Brendan in Midfield and Dualla's Goalkeeper Pádraic Flanagan held out some tough shots. The teams were very evenly matched but at the end of the game the final score was: Dualla N.S. 8-6 and Ballinure N.S. 4-2. The Dualla squad was as follows: Pádraic Flanagan, Brendan Lawrence, Eoin Power, Eoin Moloughney, Páraic Brosnan, Callum Lawrence, Tom Lawrence, Aisling Moloughney, Ava Ryan, Anna McCan, Hannah Hughes, Nicole Kennedy, Orla Power, Ciara Gahan, Caoimhe Howley, Rachel Brosnan, Rachel Ryan, Caitlin Morrissey and Leanne Toomey. It was a great match and everyone had fun. We are very grateful to Ballinure for travelling over to us for the game.

HURLING & CAMOGIE FIXTURES

All hurling and camogie fixtures for Under 11 Go Games and Under 13 Competitions have been posted to our website http://cnmb.tipperary.gaa.ie/ should you need to access any of this information.

COUNTY FINAL DATES PROVISIONALLY FIXED

The Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol County Finals in Hurling and Camogie are provisionally fixed for Thursday 5^th and Friday 6^th of June, in Semple Stadium. Please keep these dates free from School Tours etc. The Semple Stadium Committee have committed to these dates for us. The only problem that could arise is if Limerick and Tipperary draw their Munster Senior Football championship match on the previous Saturday, in Limerick. If that is a draw then the replay will probably be in Semple Stadium on Saturday 7^th June. This decision will be made by Munster Council. That could leave us in a difficult position as the Stadium is not allowed have matches in the days leading up to a Munster Senior championship game. If this is the case our back up dates for Finals will be Monday June 9^th and Tuesday June 10^th.
