Scouting for food is our annual Thanksgiving community service project to collect can goods, bundle them in bags, and donate them to a charitable organization. This is a joint effort with Troop 32 and is usually scheduled the Friday before Thanksgiving. While the Boy Scouts are collecting donated food items from around the community, Pack 167 Cub Scouts color decorative Thanksgiving sheets and attach them to the donation bags. After all the food is collected, all the Scouts help sort the food, bag it, and load the bags into the vehicles. For this activity Pack 167 Cub Scouts need Thanksgiving coloring sheets (approximately 200), crayons, and staplers. Thanksgiving coloring sheets are listed below. In addition, the "I am Thankful" folder contains sheets that can also be printed for each child to color, write what they are thankful for, and take it home.
