About Council #6138

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society. The Order holds true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

The Msgr. Bernard P. Sheridan Council #6138 sponsors several activities throughout the year, such as Friday night dinners, a blood drive, and some of the activities at the parish festivals. Our council also participates in certain liturgies throughout the year.

Any Catholic man 18 years of age and older who is committed to making their community a better place is welcome to join. Being a Knight means getting involved with your community; it supports our parishes while enhancing your own faith. It is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

The regular meeting times for members of Council #6138 are the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m., with the fourth being a social meeting. The meetings are held in McGivney Hall (a.k.a. Lower Level Madonna Hall) at Our Lady of the Greenwood parish. The Rosary begins at 7:00 p.m.

There are two ways to enter McGivney Hall:

  • Go through the rear entrance of the Narthex (C13), descend the stairs, and walk through the double doors to your right.

  • Go through the rear entrance of Madonna Hall (C14), descend the right or left set of stairs, and walk through the double doors.
