The controller has a 3 pin connector with all electrical contacts on both the controller and console are recessed to reduce the risk of shock or more likely spilled soda from corroding the contacts. The controller connector diameter is 7/8" (23 mm) at it's widest point. If running this connector through a hole, the hole will need to be the next size up 15/16" (24 mm).
