It was another entertaining day en la clase de español! Students finished up writing and speaking assessments and ended this unit with a home run

They read and watched how Dominican ball players make it to the big leagues: sometimes in their villages in the DR growing up, if they couldn’t afford the equipment, los niños dominicanos would get creative and make gloves out of cardboard. Students used recyclables, designed their own mitts and even hand made bats and baseballs and ended the period putting them to the test. Suffice it to say they had a ball!
