¡Bienvenidos al nuestro sitio Web de séptimo y de octavo grado (7&8). Soy la Señora G (Greenspan), tu nueva maestra de Español! I just recently made a move from New York and am excited to be joining you at John Glenn Middle School! My love for the Spanish language and cultures has stemmed from traveling to various Spanish-speaking countries throughout my years of work and study. Some overseas highlights (to name a few!) include studying abroad in Malaga, Spain, teaching English in Venezuela for 8 months, partaking in a 4-week graduate program in Bilbao, Spain, and participating in Spanish programs in Guatemala, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Every month I'll feature a new "foto del mes" from a different, exciting adventure!
Did you hear any Spanish this summer? Being the second most spoken language in the United States, I bet you can say ¡Sí! to that question!
Did you know that there are 21 official Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world!? This can make for a very exciting passport. One of our goals this year is to make authentic, cultural connections with the Spanish-speaking world in our own classroom -no plane required, but you may still need a passport! :)
