IMHO; In My Humble Opinion

1. Would an excellent researcher mean an excellent educator? (Essay)

I hope that my students would surpass me in research.

I hope that my students would create their own unique academic specialization of nursing science.

I hope that my students would make a difference in the healthcare delivery system, leading to a better, healthier life.

I will listen carefully to their requests, even "trivial" ones, and provide help to them as much as I can, while allowing them the maximum level of liberty.

I will not covet their talents, never.

Above all, I will let them feel treated respectfully.

언젠가 내가 눈을 감는날, 내 인생을 뒤돌아보며 "정말 후회없이 살았다." 라고 기억하고 싶다.

그렇게 웃으며 떠나고 싶다.

새로운 학문분야를 개척한 간호방법론 학자

나를 넘어서는 훌륭한 제자들을 길러낸 교육자
