사티로스(Satyr)는 술의 신 디오니소스(Dionysos)의 시종으로, 부게로는 깊은 숲 속의 외딴 연못가에서 목욕하고 있던 네 명의 님프들이 자신들을 염탐하던 사티로스를 물가로 끌고 가 빠트리려 하는 순간을 묘사하였다. 님프들의 표정이 즐거워보인다.
