CINELTA Conference

CINELTA Conference 2019. The National English Language Teaching Conference will take place at the International University of Grand-Bassam, Grand-Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire on May 6-7, 2019. Keynote Speakers

Sameh Marzouki

Sameh Marzouki is a Tunisian Senior Teacher and  a Cambridge DELTA trained Teacher Trainer. She has been practicing TEFL and TEYL for fifteen years in Tunisia and abroad. She is an active member in Tunisia  TESOL, TATE, Africa TESOL, EFLL Bangkok, Morocco MATE and  IATEFL YL SIG. She has delivered different workshops and presentations all over the world such as, Morocco, Spain, Copenhagen,Thailand,  Poland, Indonesia, Dubai,  Oman, Senegal, Uganda, Istanbul, UK and Qatar.

She was awarded the Educational Prize 2009 by the Omani Ministry of Education.

She presented at TESOL International Convention Atlanta 2019.

She is officially invited as a plenary speaker at IATEFL 2020.

Riah Werner 

Riah Werner is an English Language Fellow at IPNETP, where she designed the CI ELT Exchange to develop a community of continuing professional development for Ivorian English teachers. She is an English teacher and teacher trainer and has taught in Tanzania, South Korea, Thailand and Ecuador. She holds an MA in TESOL from SIT Graduate Institute and a BFA in theatre from New York University. Her research interests include drama and the arts, multiplicity, social justice in English language teaching, and locally contextualized pedagogy. She has published her work in TESOL Journal and English Teaching Forum, regularly presents at international conferences, and is currently co-chair of TESOL International’s Social Responsibility Interest Section. She is also a founding member of CINELTA.
