Subject Matter Expert Riah WernerRiah Werner is an English teacher and teacher trainer who has taught in Tanzania, South Korea, Thailand and Ecuador and trained more than 200 teachers. She holds an MA in TESOL from SIT Graduate Institute and a BFA in theatre from New York University. Her research interests include drama and the arts, multiplicity, social justice in English language teaching, and locally contextualized pedagogy. She designs curricula for a community organization in Tanzania, presents at international conferences and is currently editor of TESOL International’s Social Responsibility Interest Section Newsletter.

Teacher trainer and instructional designer, Fulbright Alumni, with exceptional experience as an English Teacher for more than 20 years. Currently in charge of English teacher professional development and educational technology programs. He has taught EFL in high schools and higher education over the past 20 years. He holds a Maitrise in English Literature, from Université de Cocody an Masters in Instructional Design from Université de Cergy Pontoise, France, and a Master in Instructional Technologies & Design from Lehigh University, USA. His interests include, educational technologies, teacher development, and how the conjunction of this can impact human development.
