Dear Charles,
David and I want to thank you again for allowing us to adopt Tally (formerly Linda). As soon as I saw her picture in the posting on Petfinders, I knew that I wanted to adopt her! She is very sweet and loving, and I love her high spirit! The trip from Charlotte to Brooklyn to pick her up was long, but she is worth every mile and every minute. She is a wonderful addition to our family, and we love her dearly. Thanks again for choosing us to be Tally's people.Sincerely,
Alice
Hi Charles,
I just wanted you to know that I was just perfect on that LONG trip to my new home in Charlotte. I am now officially a "Carolina Girl.". I slept like a champ last night snuggled up to my new mom. She took me for a walk this morning so that I could see my new neighborhood. I met some really nice people who think I am just precious! (And why not???)
I had a quiet day. Got a little lonesome for Mom when she went out to buy my fresh organic food, but Dad loved on me a lot, so I was pretty happy with that. Later this afternoon Mom brushed my hair really well and got out all those little knotties that I had. You will be proud to know that I was so easy to get along with while she did this. It actually felt pretty good, truth be told. Then, Mom gave me a bath in the kitchen sink, of all places. What does she think I am--a zucchini?? I was not really thrilled with this process, but I behaved. After the bath, Mom brought out the blow dryer and combs and brushes. I just lay back (literally) and enjoyed the warm air and all the attention. After all this grooming, Mom just had to take me out to introduce me to a couple neighbors. I will never get tired of hearing people say how cute I am! Then, one more walk down Mom's street. I am going to be very happy here. Mom and Dad have lots of friends who are really happy that I am here with them.
I'll have one more potty trip outside after while, then it will be time for bed. Thanks, Charles, for finding my new mom and dad. They love me and I love them!
Love,
Tally

Thanks so much for your help! I was so afraid of doing the wrong thing for Russell and you made me feel confident that with your help he will be on the right track. If I can return the favor in any way let me know ... Your responsiveness was beyond appreciated.

Hi Charles,
I can't wait to see you tomorrow! The kids watched, The Witness, Meat your Meet, and Harlow Wire Cloth Monkey Experiment today. They were feeling both saddened and I think a bit helpless about the abuse of animals and the suffering that humans cause them. I told them that the rest of the week was going to be about how they can make a difference and HELP! You will be the catalyst for this for them. If there is anything you need let me know. How long do you think you will speak for so that we can plan around you? Again you have from 10-12 if you'd like but not sure you want all that time.
Okay thank you thank you thank you Charles.

p.s. I am totally in love. Sev in my main man in life now. He barked for the first time two days ago, and then again yesterday at a dog about five times his size. :)
Charles,
You have no idea the impact you had on those kids yesterday they were so excited. Odun was the talk of the SCHOOL! Thank you.

Dear Charles,
Thank you so very much for a fun and meaningful day for Theodore and all the kids. Please also extend my thanks to your whole staff and tiny shoes too, for putting up with all those walks around the block.
I have already heard back from one mom that she plans to return to walk dogs and another that she plans to adopt a kitten... hope so! and I wouldn't be surprised if my brother ends up adopting a pit bull from you-- he really liked that brindle that was going out for a walk as we were leaving..
We'll see you around, my little family will definitely come by to walk dogs again.
Keep up the good work.
Maria
Hey Charles,
You are one of my favorites and I have really enjoyed working with so much with you - now the adoption events won't nearly be as fun. I would love to stay in touch and if you need any help - I would be more than happy to - especially when it comes to marketing, promotion and web stuff. And I can't do it I might be able to get some volunteers who could.
Best of luck and definitely keep me posted - I think it is awesome you are opening a shelter.
Best,
Diane

Hi Charles,
Thanks so much for volunteering with your dogs at Lutheran Medical Center! Bonnie Olsen, who is in charge of volunteers, asked that you please contact her to set up an interview. Her information is below.

Hi Charles!
I am soooo impressed w the photos and what you do. Your organization to help rape victims and those who suffer from PTSD. I can't wait for my students to hear about the impact dogs and animals can have on the lives of youth, the military, and you! Archon and the peach tree is a beautiful story I have no doubt that he is looking over you and supporting you and protecting you on your new journey. Archon's influence has seemed to make you powerful in whatever you commit to doing.
