French impressions (French films at Chiswick Cinema)
After many very popular years at Watermans Arts Centre (now closed), the French Impressions series of talk-plus-film has now transferred to a new home at the Chiswick Cinema. French Film expert Jon Davies introduces the film – and/or the director’s work, or similar films - entertaining, illustrated with clips, for about an hour, then a short break for refreshments, followed by the movie (English subtitles). Generally taking place at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month, but check Chiswick Cinema's website for details.

Our friend John Carmichael, OAM, former Chair of the Cercle Français de Chiswick, is releasing a new album on 9th February 2024. Below are the release notes from the record company, and below that a link for which you can listen to an extract.
