Saritha Namboodiri

Saritha Namboodiri hails from a traditional Valluvanadan Namboodiri family. She has a great fascination for the exuberant Namboodiri culture, tradition etc. She is married and has two kids. She has been working as a lecturer in Department of Computer Science, Sreekrishnapuram V.T. Bhattathiripad College, Palakkad for the past 15 years. Ever since her induction into the teaching stream, she has actively participated in all the academic activities of the University. She has served as the Syndicate member of University of Calicut, was the first elected member of the Academic Council for Applied Science and is at present a member in BOS (Computer science) of Kannur University. She did her MCA from Bharathiyar University. She is pursuing her Ph.D under the guidance of Dr. Achuthsankar S. Nair. She is to complete her Ph.D work by the end of 2011. Her research topic is - Sequence Signatures of Allostery.
