A multi-talented and keen learner, Priya Venugopal is a truly enthusiastic and dedicated researcher with strong desire to do experimental and analytical research systematically. Her association with DCB started in 2008, when she first came to perform a Flute concert as part of the 1st Bioinformatica Indica International Symposium, and then later as a project student. Her strong background in Life science as well as in Music, took her into the Music - Embryo research which was her first footstep in experimental research at DCB. Currently she is working on the peptic-ulcer bacterium Helicobacter pylori and its role in gastric inflammation. A good singer, composer and dancer, with years of experience in media and stage, she has added innovative and creative freshness to every DCB event.
