Anand V.B.
Anand V.B. hails from the beautiful place called Mannadikonam. He completed his schooling from DVMNN HSS, Maranallor and completed his graduation in Computer Science from UIT, Neyyattinkara. His family include father, mother, a twin brother and an younger brother. His father is in Kerala Police Department, mother is a house wife, twin brother is doing final year BSc Nursing in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and his younger brother is studying +2 in Vellanad Government HSS. He like to spend his leasure time online, chatting with friends and browsing things. His favourite color is white, as it is the color of peace. He likes his native place - Mannadikonam, since all his family, friends and relatives are there. The most memorable days in his life were his college days, where he had a lot of good friends and where he enjoyed his life to the fullest. His aim is to get a job in the Indian Air Force. Neenu E.S. hails from Vizhinjam, a beautiful coastal area in Thiruvananthapuram district. She has completed her Bsc. Computer Science from UIT Neyyattinkara centre. She did her schooling at Girl's Higher Secondary School, Venganoor. Her family consists of father, who is working as a gold smith; mother; an elder brother, who is working at IBM Mumbai and an elder sister, who is a teacher in Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalla. Inspired by her sister, her ambition is to become a school teacher. She likes listening to music and chatting with friends. She is in love with her native place Vizhinjam, where she feels the nostalgic moments. Most of her friends are from her college days and it makes those days very special for her. Rajimol S.
Arya V.V. is coming from Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram. She has completed her Bsc. degree in Bioinformatics from Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri. She has bagged the first rank in BSc. degree exam of the year 2011 from MS University. She has a brother and mother at her home. Her brother who is younger is an engineering student. Her hobby, like most of us, is listening to music. She listens to all genre of music especially devotional songs which gives her peace of mind. Her favourite film is ‘Cocktail’ (Malayalam) because of its realistic approach. Her mother is the most influential person in her life because she has struggled a lot for upbringing her daughter and son. Her favorite quote is ”God is my shepeard, I shall not want by Jesus”. She feels SIUCEB as a place where every member including faculties, staffs and researchers are very motivating, friendly and inspiring. Rajimol S. hails from Kilimanoor, Thiruvananthapuram and her native place is Nedumankavu, Kollam. Her family conists of father-in-law, mother-in-law and husband. Her father-in-law and husband are working abroad and mother-in-law is running a shop. She completed her schooling from St. Jude HS, Govt. HSS Kuzhimathicadu, Kollam and B.Tech Biotechnology MET’s School of Engineering, Thrissur. Her hobbies include listening to music, reading, gardening etc. She maintains a garden with orchids, anthurium and roses. Her favorite singer is K.S. Chithra because of her sweet voice. She likes the combination of black and white because she thinks that these colors are two sides of life. She speaks Hindi very fluently. She likes the novel 'Randamoozham', as it gives a different perspective to the epic, 'Mahabharatha'. She hates her own habit of being irresponsible and tries to overcome this by warming up her mind with the quotes of Robert Frost; “Woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep”. The most inspired person in her life is Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam because of his vision for the future of our country. Athira G.J. hails from Udiyankulangara, Thiruvananthapuram. Her family consists of her father, mother and a younger brother. She completed her schooling in V.P.M. HSS, Vellarada, Lekshmi Vilasam Higher Secondary School, Arayoor and did her B.Sc Bioinformatics in Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri. She is the second rank holder in MS University for B.Sc. in the year 2011. Most influential person in her life is her father as he loves her more than she loves herself. She believes in Jesus Christ and Holy Mother. Her main hobbies are listening music, writing Malayalam poems and reading books such as novels. She like horror stories and movies. Her favorite book is 'Drakkula' by Brome Stocker. Among her poems I like "Ente Swapnam" the most, because it is about dreams of life. Along with her native language she speak Tamil very fluently. She like melody songs and her favorite song is "Chandra Hridayam..." from the film 'Sathyam Shivam Sundaram'. Google is the most useful website in her opinion. Vrindha madam, HOD of Bioinformatics in Malankara Catholic College inspired her a lot, as she made her realize the value of acquiring knowledge and motivated her to do further studies. Her favorite quote is "നാം സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും സജീവ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളായിതീരണം എന്തെന്നാല് ഈശ്വരന് സത്യവും സ്നേഹവുമാണ് ". Shilpa Sasidharan hails from Calicut and her family consists of father, mother and a younger brother. Her brother is doing his B.Tech in Coimbatore and her parents are employed in Government sector. She did her schooling in Kendriya vidyalaya Calicut and did her graduation in Bioinformatics from College of Applied Sciences, Kannur. Gardening and listening to music are her favorite hobbies. She is interested to take care of the garden which is full of roses. She enjoys singing melodies especially, A.R. Rahman songs. She can handle Hindi also along Malayalam and English. The website she likes is Wikipedia because whenever there is an assignment she gets proper materials from the site. The most influential personalities in her life are her parents because of their proper guidance and understanding. The quote which strikes her most in her life is “Life does not consist mainly or even largely of facts and happening. It consists mainly of the storm of thoughts that are forever blowing through one’s mind” by Mark Twain. Her aim in life is to continue her studies in Computational Biology as a researcher. Deepthi T.J. hails from the southern most part of Kerala, Parassala. Her family consists of father, mother and an elder sister. She did her schooling from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Neyyattinkara and completed her graduation in BSc. Computer Science from UIT Neyyattinkara. She likes writing poetry and most of her poems reflects the changes around the world. Her mother is a teacher by profession and she is the most influential person in her life. She feels her mother can understand her problems even in her silence. Her favourite movie is 'Manichitrathazhu' for its comedy and the performance by Shobana. She is smart, friendly in nature and very systematic in her studies. Her ambition is to become a government employee as her parents are also employed in government sector and she thinks government jobs are always secure. Dhanya Devi M.V.
Sugeeth is from Neyyattinkara and his family consists of his father, mother and an younger brother, who is pursuing BSc Electronics in IHRD. He did his schooling at Sainik School Kazhakootam & SCTRCS Kunnathukkal and did his graduation in Bioinformatics from Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science, Thuckalay. Reading, listening to music and chatting are his favorite hobbies. 'Lakshay', 'Never Back Down' are his favorite films, because of the motivating attitude of core characters. He loves traveling and bike riding. He hate persons who are not trustful in nature and spiders. You can always see him with a smiling face and that’s his trade mark. He is a keen aspirant for joining the Armed Forces and it is his biggest dream, because of the influence from Sainik School, family members and war hero’s. His favorite quote is “Yeh dil mange more...” by Capt. Bikram Batra. He thinks that SIUCEB is an entirely different atmosphere unlike other Universities, where more friendly approach and sharing of knowledge, between teachers and students are seen. Dhanya Devi M.V. coming from Parassala, is the youngest in our class. She completed her schooling from Evans Higher Secondary School, Parassala and graduation in Bioinformatics from Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science, Kumaracoil. Her family consist of father, mother, sister, brother, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and two babbies. Her father is a business man and mother is a housewife. Her hobbies include listening melodious songs and watching television. She is also interested in classical dance and trained in Bharathanattiyam. Her favorite singer is Vidhu Pradap because of his sweet voice. Her favorite film is ‘Happy Days’ which tells the story of friendship and college life. Her favorite writer is Murugan Kattakkada and poem is ‘Kannada’ as it reveals the whole outlook of Keralam. She is a talkative person and we all love her spontaneous talk on various subjects. She can also speak Tamil. She hates people compeling her and making her doing things. From childhood, she has a tendency to pick black coloured things, and thus black became her favourite colour. She completed her schooling from Vimala Hridhaya HSS and graduation in computer science from UIT Kollam. She consider Saraswathy teacher in plus two influenced her a lot, because of teacher’s ability to care all students equally. Her favorite hobbies are reading books and listening music. She like novels and stories written by Vaikkom Muhammad Basheer and her favorite book is “Patthummayude Aadu”. She is a true believer of Lord Ganesh and she feels herself strong after praying to him. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's ways of motivating children through his speeches and books influenced her a lot. She likes white colour because it is considered as the colour of peace. Her favorite website is Google. She is friendly and kind in nature. Her ambition in life is to become a good professional in the IT sector. She consider CBi campus as a friendly and free space.
