The Golden Eagle Project

In the spring of 2014, the CRAA embarked upon their most visible project to date. Spearheaded by alumnus Dr. Trianfillos Parlapanides ’91. The Golden Eagle Project was introduced and our fundraising efforts began.

The idea was to replace the Eagle that we all knew and loved which was removed from the school grounds some time in the late seventies. First, stone planters were built which will hold the Eagles in their places of honor. Thanks to our grounds crew at CRHS under the direction of Sam Pepe’83

The Eagle sculptures were installed at the Middle School entrance, the High School entrance and at the newly refurbished football field. The Central regional Alumni Association has landscaped and planted perennials in these planter boxes.

Many Thanks to all of the donors.
