MacKenzie taught Irish dance in the Bay Area tradition from 2008 to 2019. During that time, she became well versed in the instruction of many of the local dances, as well as many of the traditional classics. Should you ever like to invite her to teach a lesson at your ceili or social dance, or if you are interested in having her put together a performance piece for your next event, please feel free to e-mail her and she'll see how much dust she can knock off her notes.
Beyond this website, one of MacKenzie's contributions to the community was a little brochure called Calling Notes for Irish Dances, which describes in brief many of the most common reels and jigs danced in the Bay Area, along with a list of polka set figures for the forgetful caller. If you would like a copy, send MacKenzie and e-mail and she would be delighted to mail you a copy.
Beyond the Irish world, MacKenzie can occasionally be seen in an N95 at social dance events throughout the Bay Area.
