Youth Birding

Welcome!

The youth group is made up of Youth ages 9+ (or occasionally younger with attending guardian/parent) are welcome to join us for birding, career exploration, conservation projects, birdy games and activities, and more! 

Programs are organized by Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County (CCETC), with most programs meeting at the CCETC building on Willow Avenue (near Dey Street and 13) in Ithaca.

Winter/Spring 2026 Schedule

• January 24, 9am-4pm: North end of Cayuga Lake

  • postponed to January 31, 9am-3pm

• February 15, 9am-1pm

• March 14, 9am-3pm: Search for Snow Geese

• April 3 (rain date April 4), 6pm: Evening  Woodcock and Owl trip

• April 12, 9am-12pm
